When is the best time to start the college process?
NOW! Go visit local universities and colleges to generate interest with your teen. We recommend ALL JUNIORS get started ASAP. It is the most important year.
How does the process work?
We deliver monthly, bite sized information that is grouped into categories that matter in the college application process: PAYING FOR COLLEGE, THE COLLEGE LIST, STANDING OUT, THE APPLICATION and ESSAYS. The Sharks are also available in the "community" area to answer questions and will host several LIVE Q&A sessions for members.
How do we get scholarships and aid?
The worry about paying for college is REAL. We help you understand the real cost of college, and where your student may be eligible for financial aid.
What is test-optional?
We will explain test-optional, test-blind and the value of the standardized test. Things change every year!
Can a C student get into college?
C's get degrees! Hundreds of U.S. colleges and universities have a place for C students. We have many years of experience working with these students and can help you with a great college fit!
How to start building a college list?
A balanced college list is one of the most important elements of the college journey. Our process will help your student identify what they are looking for in a college and narrow the list to reach, likely and safety schools.

ABOUT US
Lee Norwood is the owner of Annapolis College Consulting, a successful entrepreneur and author with majors in Business/Marketing and English from Elon University. She has visited over 143 colleges and worked with more than 100 students at Annapolis College Consulting. Lee excels at connecting with students, helping them find their authentic voice, and crafting unique, meaningful essays. She is also known for her engaging social media content.
Marcia Cowan has been guiding college-bound students since 1999. A graduate of Georgetown University and George Washington University School of Law, Marcia specializes in demystifying the admissions process for both U.S. and international families. She enjoys helping students with personal statements and essays and is fluent in French.
